Why is the Checks and Balances important to America, how would a unitary executive impact the system and
America?
In
America we need certain power to have our rights. Certain power needs to be tamed in all different ways that way nobody can take advantage of any one’s rights. That’s why we have the three branches which are part of the Checks and Balances. Since our new law was made in 2001, things have changed. We call that law the “Unitary Executive.” This probably holds the most power out of any branch.
Checks and Balances makes sure that the branches are not to powerful. If they were too powerful they wouldn’t protect
America’s rights and nobody would be trusted. There’s a limit to where they separate the power and limit the power of national government. The Unitary Executive is basically a doctrine that holds the three branches of the federal government stating that they have the power to interpret constitution.
The president however may indeed make the law equally as much as the courts can. Each branch had an important job to do to help citizens in
America. They make sure they don’t get ignored. Makes sure everything goes right with the power.
Under the President’s circumstances the Unitary Executive is the president’s power. All the authority would be in the president’s hands. All the abuses to Supreme Court wouldn’t be nothing. It goes by how he sees it and it’s based on his powers.
If the president doesn’t like the law he doesn’t have to listen to what it says because it will go his way only even if they were passed from Congress and signed into a law from him. Unlike the three branches each of them has a certain power over one another. This helps them from gaining power over one another.
The whole situation is based on who you can trust in the system. As you can see the president is not trusted because he writes laws and then he doesn’t obey them. He obviously wants to be the “big boss” the “King.” A law doesn’t mean nothing to him just know he’s the president.
In the world we need equal laws that way people in the industry can do fair things. Nobody can get mistreated by anyone and everything would be just right.
