WEEK 7 — TOPIC: IRAQ (REQUIRED RESPONSE & BLOG Assignment)
In the CNN Story this is what i found about the Iraq Invasion:
Former U.S. Treasury Secretary Paul O’Neill who served nearly 2 years for Bush’s cabinet. O’Neill said Bush began to plan the Iraq War before 9/11.
The invasion in Iraq happened on March 20, 2003. The United States, United Kingdom, Austrailia, South Korea had supplied the vast majority of the invading forces. That’s when the Iraq war begined. 0′Neill claim that Iraq was doing a violaton of the International law. Iraq had been violating the UN Security Council Resolution 1441 Regarding Weapons of Mass.
President Bush ended the war May 1, 2003. Bush had been wanting to remove President of Iraq Saddam Hussein from his chair. He said because Hussein is a bad man! The U.S. captured Hussein on December 13, 2003.
